Compact installation
The coupling mechanism with integrated pneumatic operation enables remote controlling even in extremely confined areas, for example during the use of VBG’s low under- and front-mounted drawbeam DBI.
Simple operation
When the control valve’s handle is moved to the opening position, tension is built up in the air mechanism and the coupling opens. Remote controlling with a control valve considerably simplifies connecting and disconnecting, improves ergonomic handling and reduces the risk of occupational injuries.
Sensor for simple indicating in the cab
The mechanism is provided with an inductive sensor. In accordance with Directive 94/20/EEC, warning lamps must be fitted in the cab for remote-controlled couplings. When the coupling is closed and secured, a green lamp should go on. When the coupling is open, a red lamp should go on.
Connect inductive sensor to the Indicator kit for a signal in the cab (see Accessories, couplings) .
Protective bracket
To protect the mechanism, the signal and lock pin, and the air hoses from possible damage when reversing it can be supplemented with a protective bracket.
